PART OF AN INTERNATIONAL MANUFACTURING GROUP BASED IN THE USA
Due to a group wide restructure the clients were provided with increase autonomy to run their sites as stand alone businesses. The Leadership team, whilst having may years of service at the facilities had not been used to working with this level of autonomy and accountability. We were asked to help them make the transition.
We worked with the leadership teams to establish their plant strategy and implement an Operational Management System. We coached the teams to deploy the OMS and associated leader standard work to engage and align the rest of their management structure. Also to aid the engagement of shop floor teams we helped introduce structured problem solving routines.
A structured system of leading the business which included and agreed set of routines and behaviours.
The Management System provided focus on the issue that needed attention i.e Sales pipeline.
